The visual problems of heat and distance in 632 simultaneously documents an industrial process and offers a commentary on painting and sculpture in a manufacturing landscape. The video records the sum of an orders parts and ultimately becomes more than the sum of it’s own parts. Struggling to function correctly in front of an industrial oven, the camera overheats causing the footage to jump and re-focus on slow moving components on the powder coating line.
